The rain and tornado watch did not put a damper on the cancer fighting on April 19, 2013 at the 11th annual Shenandoah University Relay For Life. After some last minute changes, the beginning portion of the event was held inside Shingleton Gym, where it was revealed that the Cars for a Cause car show raised $16,120. This put the event over the fundraising goal before it even fully started. After 12 hours of walking, over 256 participants raised $38,748 to finding a cure to cancer!
