From May 17-19, Blackboard will be closed for work to be done on a new, updated version of Blackboard. There will be a component similar to social networking that allows students, faculty and staff to connect with others — professors can send notifications of courses through text messages. In addition Video Everywhere will be a new feature to make videos and post them on Youtube.
