The new year comes with new resolutions. There are several apps that can make keeping your new year resolution a little easier. The four of the most popular resolutions include losing weight, getting in shape, keeping track of finance and getting organize. There following apps are great aids to keeping your resolutions. Just remember, you have to commit yourself to actually using them and not just downloading them on your phone.
Lose it! is an app to help with weight lose. This app, sold by Fit Now, tracks your meals, exercise and nutrition. Its makes it very easy to document your foods with a built-in barcode scanner, a searchable list of common grocery items and a database of popular restaurant meals. And to help you keep the momentum, you are able to connect with friends and get inspiration from them. Lose it! is a free app and holds a four and a half out of five star rating on iTunes.
Gympact sold by Geoffrey Oberhofer is a popular fitness app. This app allows you to set your exercise and healthy eating goals for the week and holds you to it with money at stake! When you first get the app, you will have to register a credit card and set an amount to put on the line. Each time you do not fulfill your exercise goal for the week you lose that much per trip to the gym. For example, if you say you will go to the gym three times that week and will have $5 on the line for each trip. If you only go to the gym once that week, you will lose $10. But by completing your goals, Gympact will pay you from all of those who don’t go. Gympact is a free app that has a three out of five star rating on iTunes.
Mint.com app is a great way to keep track of your budget. Mint.com attaches to your bank accounts and your credit cards. Then it tracks your spending while automatically seperating it into different categories. All you have to do is go in and set your budget for areas like food, gas and clothing. Mint.com will notifiy you when you have exceeded the budgeted amount. Mint.com can be downloaded for free and receives a four and a half out of five star rating.
Evernote is a big way to get yourself organized. This little app allows you to create your own digital storage center where you can keep and label all of your information. Write notes, take pictures and edit PDF right from your phones or other devices. And the best part of this app is that you can sync it to your different devices.
