The Washington Capitals announced Saturday that they have fired head coach Adam Oates and will not be renewing George Mcphee’s, the team’s general manager, contract for the upcoming 2014-2015 season. Through CapsOnline, the Owner, Ted Leonsis and President, Dick Patrick held a press conference just a few hours after the announcements and gave remarks about Oates and McPhee. Adam Oates is a “Hall of Fame player who we believe will be a longtime coach in the NHL,” said Leonsis and Patrick.

CNN News covers a story about a Kenyan artist Michael Soi who teams up with The Center for African Family Studies (CAFS) to make condom wrappers that are more appealing to the consumers. They teamed up together to help promote safe sex and raise awareness about HIV/AIDS. Most people are very aware of STDs and safe sex but are embarrassed or worried about being seen buying condoms unmarried because it is frowned upon to have wedlock sex. The eye-catching design is modeled after pop art and has a very creative way to hide that it’s even a condom, making it easier to purchase in public.
