The CrepeWorx opens downtown

Nichole Davila-Sanchez, Staff Writer

In the fall of 2015, a new shop opened on the Winchester walking mall right across from Snow White Grill. CrepeWorx serves fast and delicious crepes that can be ordered off the menu or made custom. Their menu changes according to changes in seasonal fruits and vegetables. The owner Tony, uses local vender for his food, in an effort to keep things fresh and homegrown.

At the moment, they are serving sweet and savory flavors like the Beast, which contains bacon, tomatoes, spinach, and egg, with wrapped in a crepe and topped with avocado cream, and the Nutty Monkey, which has nutella, peanut butter, and bananas.

If you want something to drink, CrepeWorx serves cider, beers, coffee and more. Perhaps a side dish of sweet potato fried might strike your fancy. This shop has a lot to offer at an affordable price. Their sweet crepes stand at $7.50, their savory at $8.50, and their breakfast crepes at $7.

From the moment you step into the shop, you are welcomed by its modern décor and friendly staff. They are open Sunday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. CrepeWorx does not deliver, because, according to the owner, Tony, “[they] are understaffed at the moment,” but you can call ahead to place your order.

If the weather gets unmanageable, they post any changes to their business hours on their Facebook page. You can also check their their website for the menu, directions, or contact information. If you want to hang out with some friends and have some delicious food at a good price, try CrepeWorx – it might just be the place to brighten your day.
