Spring break is a time to relax on the beach and enjoy the warm weather that summer brings. Sadly here in Virginia and many other areas the weather hasn’t reached that lovely summer feel yet. So we have to go to the weather since the weather won’t come to us just yet. Here is a list of the top ten spring break destinations for this year!
#10: San Diego, California
San Diego is full of gorgeous beaches, palm trees and the summer life! With great food and hangout places all around. You can hit up the beach and enjoy surfing before the summer crowd hits, or maybe got to the famous San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, or maybe even Mission Beach. San Diego is full of nice weather and overall a great spring break destination.
#9. San Juan, Puerto Rico
San Juan is a very attractive city; it is the capitol of Puerto Rico and is full of day and night life. Visitors come for the El Yunque Rainforest as well as the vast beaches. San Juan is full of resorts and clear water. The amount of palm trees makes San Juan a great spring break destination.
#8. Los Cabos, Mexico
Los Cabos is known for its white sand beaches and endless amounts of great food! It’s a very popular destination among college students. It’s the perfect place to relax for a few days or even the entire break. You can swim with dolphins or even take a boat tour on the beautiful clear water from the Gulf of California.

South Padre is known as “the place” for spring break and fun in the sun! It is an affordable domestic option for spring breakers. It is located just at the tip of Texas and is full of beautiful beaches and warm weather. The funs all around with sparkling blue water plenty of beach and water actives. It makes number seven on the countdown list.

Miami is one of the perfect places for beach and city lover in us all. It is one place for the perfect tan and beach events! Full of good food and affordable stay, Miami is fun for spring break. Miami is one of the most popular US spring break destinations for college students.

The Bahamas just sound like the perfect spring break destination! With clear waters and resorts, it may not be affordable but it is constant fun in the sun. Nassau has so much to offer, the famous Atlantis is located in the heart of the island and the surrounding area is full of touristy shops and dining.

L.A. is the perfect destination for the urban and city lover in all of us! There is so much to do from relaxing and hanging out at Venice Beach to walking on Hollywood Boulevard to Santa Monica Pier. The fun never ends! Los Angeles is the perfect spring break destination for the adventurer in all of us. Since the weather is always sunny and no rain in site you’ll always be able to get exploring outside.

Cancun just sounds like the perfect spring break destination; it has held the reputation of being the most popular international destination among college students. With affordable lodging, the abundance of beaches and sand and the lively night scene. Cancun is also home to an EDM festival, very popular among spring breakers.

Panama City Beach is the most popular US destination for spring break, although that does not make it number one. The beaches are full of parties, concerts and even some pools. The light sand beaches and clear water is a hook to this perfect place with wonderful weather on the coast of Florida.

The biggest surprise of the list is that Austin, Texas is the number one spot for spring break. Austin is full of life, with its warm weather in March and the annual South by Southwest Festival, a music and movie festival. Austin is also the food truck capitol, so when you combine warm weather, a music festival and cheap food you get the top spring break destination.
