The Shenandoah University men’s basketball team prevailed on the road at Randolph College on Saturday, in a tight game against the WildCats with a final score of 65 to 62.
Sophomore guard Dalon McHugh, a sports management major, scored the winning three-pointer with five seconds left in the game. McHugh had another big game finishing with 11 points, four rebounds, and two steals.
Senior guard Malcolm Clark, a kinesiology major, and junior guard Kwa McDonald, a sports management major, also had big performances for the Hornets. Clark had 18 points and 10 rebounds. McDonald finished with nine rebounds and four assists.
The men will be back in action at home against Washington and Lee University on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 7 p.m. in Shingleton Gym.
