You will need:
- Mixer and whisk
- One pound of butter
- 1 ½ cup of granulated sugar
- 2 cups of brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 4 teaspoons of vanilla
- 1 ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 bag of Ghirardelli chocolate chips
- 6 cups of flour
First, mix together one pound butter, 1 ½ cups of granulated sugar, and 2 cups of brown sugar for 5 minutes in a mixer. Then add 3 eggs and 4 teaspoons of vanilla and mix those in with the butter and sugar.
In a different bowl, whisk together 1 ½ teaspoon salt, 1 ½ teaspoon baking soda, 1 bag of Ghirardelli chocolate chips and 6 cups of flour. Once mixed, slowly add to the first bowl.
Then, scoop the batter onto a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for around 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove the sheet from the oven, let cookies cool, and enjoy!
