Last Saturday at home against Widener, the Shenandoah baseball team began their season. The team prevailed in both games, winning 13-2 in game one and 3-1 in game two. With their winning performance, Kooper Anderson and Reilly Owen received the ODAC Player and Pitcher of the Week. With a home run, triple, and three stolen bases, Kooper had a 4 for 5 performance. Reilly pitched 5.0 scoreless innings with no hits allowed. Nevertheless, he struck out five batters. The team played well on February 11th, and while it’s still early on, there’s no doubt that they’ll work hard to win every game. They continued their season on February 18th with a game against Misericordia in a doubleheader at home.
