The Buzz is Shenandoah University’s student newspaper and multimedia outlet!

We pride ourselves in keeping the campus community informed by providing fair, honest, and quality news.

In an attempt to reach more of the campus community both in Winchester and around the world, SU’s student paper went fully digital in the fall semester of 2016. We do have limited archives available of articles published prior to fall 2016, available by searching on this site. We do not have any record of publications prior to December 2012.

We are meeting once a month via Zoom during the Spring 2021 Semester.

The Buzz accepts submissions on a rolling basis. We also have several opportunities for writers, photographers, and videographers. All of our staff members have the opportunity to receive monetary compensation for their work.

To learn more about how to join The Buzz staff or contribute an article, please email our Editor in Chief- Dorie Triplett at thedoah@su.edu
