A housewarming and dedication ceremony took place today for Roni’s Roost, the newest addition to the University’s upperclassmen housing complex, The Village.
President Tracy Fitzsimmons and the University community officially announced the dedication of The Village’s first residential building, Caruthers House, on Friday afternoon.

Caruthers House, named for Preston C. Caruthers and the late Jeanne Caruthers, both known for their devotion to the Shenandoah University students, is the first house of the Village dorms to be constructed, and is scheduled for completion in the summer of this year, just in time for the fall semester.
